ACSL Elementary Division Coaching

https://www.acsl.org/about

Elementary Division: Ideally suited for elementary school students who are interested in learning about Computer Science without having any programming experience. 6th grade and under can participate. No coding experience is needed.

This class will focus on teaching concepts for below topics. We will spend 4 weeks on each topic along with plenty of practice problems.

Students in this course will explore key computer science concepts including number systems, Boolean algebra, and graph theory, all aligned with the ACSL Elementary Division standards. With four official ACSL contests throughout the year, the course will sharpen students' problem-solving abilities as they tackle the theoretical aspects of these topics. By the end of the course, they will have developed a solid foundation in computer science, setting the stage for future learning and success in the field!

Teacher Bio: The instructor for this class will be my son, Arnav Gupta, currently attending IT Track at Academics of Loudoun. Arnav has been actively participating in ACSL since 6th grade and has gained considerable experience. He has consistently progressed to the ACSL finals over the course of five years and has even achieved the distinguished bronze medal on two occasions.
